GDTV, initially was under ZAKSAT from Kuwait and in the year 1999 was transferred under KIPCO, Kuwait’s largest investment companies listed in Kuwait Stock Exchange.

Later, GDTV engaged in a business tie up with ADD (Arab Digital Distribution Co.) and started distributing it’s pay TV channel such as AL-Awael, Star Select, Firstnet and Pehla. Today Global Direct Television L.L.C. with its offices in UAE has its business spread all across the Emirates.

Currently, GDTV’s ever expanding team of high caliber employees handle more than 700 buildings, residences and villas in UAE.
